About the area
Bosekati is a small township located in Anandanagar, West Bengal, with a lack of infrastructural and civic facilities. People in andaround have to travel distances to avail of health needs such as doctor’s services and medical units to purchase medicines.etc. The poorest of the poor are most affected.
The Health component of the programme aim is to improve the health status of the referral community by increasing the level of awareness regarding health issues and encouraging healthy habits among them, most importantly to give them quick access. The medical clinics operate within the premises of St Luke’s church.
Current CRS Programme
This is partnership programme with the Diocese of Calcutta, Church of North India.

- Weekly clinics by qualified doctors
- Routine doctor’s check-ups
- Distribution of medication with prescription
- Referrals to Government Hospitals & Diagnostics services
- Health awareness programmes for mother & child
- Health Camps in collaboration with related health agencies
