We seek financial donations and donations in kind to support the both the regular activities and specific initiatives. Different ways to give are detailed below.
Financial donations
We welcome donations from individuals, groups, trusts and corporations.
Tax exemption: All donations to CRS are eligible for 50% tax exemption u/s 80G.
- Individuals are welcome to make donations in Rupees by cheque made payable to “Cathedral Relief Service”. Cheques should be mailed to: Cathedral Relief Service, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Cathedral Road, Kolkata 700 071, West Bengal.
- There is a donation box for CRS inside St Paul’s Cathedral for donations in cash or by cheque; alternatively you can call into the CRS office in person.
- We also accept corporate donations towards general funds or for specific initiatives. Please contact the CRS Director to discuss further.
Donations in kind
We accept material support in the form of books, stationery, sewing machines, computers and other items. If you can help in this way, please contact the CRS office.
Volunteering
We welcome volunteers who can give some of their time to help with CRS activities. Professionals such as teachers and those with medical training can be of particular assistance. We also welcome help with administration and fundraising. Please contact the CRS office if you would like to volunteer.
